For any given quarter, we generally have about 40 TAs for the calculus-based course and 8 for the algebra-based course. A few (2-5) of these TAs are undergraduates. Less than 40% of our graduate TAs are international students. For those international students who do not pass the TOEFL, they are paired up with an experienced graduate student to acclimate the international student to American undergrads.
