4/8/2008 UMN Teaching Lab README:

All versions of the software were developed to run under Windows XP and Labview 7.1.1, and the installers will install the Labview 7.1.1 runtime engine.

Make a separate directory or folder for each installer package you wish to use and unzip them separately to avoid mixing and overwriting files.

The Labpro versions will place a copy of labprousb.dll in the \Windows\system32 directory. This is a new version(file size ~128k) as of January 2008, and will NOT work under win2000 or earlier. By substituting the earlier version(file size ~116k) after installation the applications will run under Win2000.

The SensorDAQ versions require installation of the SensorDAQ drivers from CDROM, preferably before installation of the Faraday or HallPROBE application packages.  

The VideoRECORDER and VideoTOOL applications were developed using the NI IEEE-1394 Version 1.5.2 Firewire camera driver. These require a licensed copy of the IMAQ Vision Runtime Engine V7.1.0 availiable from National Instruments. We cannot provide this. The installers will place copies of imaq1394.dll, NiVisSVC.dll, and NiVision.dll, in the \Windows\system32 directory
