Sodium Absorption/Emission

Description: A monochromator is used to observe absorption and emission lines of sodium.

Special Instructions: Light the flame under the salt and wait a few minutes. Turn the knob next to the camera to find the absorption lines.

Ideally For: Phys 2303, 2403, 2503, 2601, Ast 1001

Condition: Ok

Setup time: 10 minutes
