Planck's Constant - LEDs

Description: The voltage required to light various LEDs (395, 560, 582, 612, 642, and 950 nm) is measured. Voltage vs. wavelength is plotted, with the slope giving you h/e.

Special Instructions: Start with the LED lit and slowly turn down the voltage until the meter reads zero.

Ideally For: Phys 2303, 2403, 2503, 2601

Condition: Good
