Description: Two 4 ft lengths of aluminum are fastened together by bolts passing through holes 6 inches from the ends. The lower piece is cut one foot from one end. The whole setup is is suspended from a bolt located in the center of the upper piece. When the smaller piece is rotated, the equilibrium is not upset. However, if the longer piece is rotated, the equilibrium is upset.
