Description: The classical Atwood machine consists of to equal
masses connected by a light string over a pulley. In this configuration,
the mass will not accelerate. When a small mass is added to one mass, the
system will accelerate. g can be calculated from the time it takes one
mass to hit the ground.
Special Instructions: Place a 50 g (or smaller) mass on
one of the 1 kg masses.
Ideally For: Phys 1001, 1101, 1201, 1301
Condition: OK.
