Larry's Density Samples

Description: Small vials contain materials of differing densities. Samples are of air, water, lead, sand, and glycerin. Samples can be handed around to students.

Special Instructions: Make sure students do not open containers. Can be messy, especially with the glycerin.

Ideally For: Phys 1001, 1101, 1201, 1301, Ast 1001

Setup time: 1 minute

Safety Issues: Lead dust, if any, should not be inhaled.
