Description: A 60 W bulb is placed in series with a 90 V battery
and
a 20 H inductor. A 25 W bulb is placed across the inductor. When the
knife switch is closed, the 25 W bulb flashes momentarily, then dims. A
second later, the 60 W bulb lights. When the switch is opened, the 25 W
bulb will flash due to the collapse of the field.
