Electroscope in Colanders

Description: An electroscope needle hangs inside a colander and the
system is charged
using a rod and fur, causing the electroscope to deflect. When a second
colanders is brought together with the first, a spherical shell is formed
and the scope discharges. When the colanders are separated, the needle
deflects again.
