WHAT DOES CO-SIGNING THE WHITE PAPERS IMPLY?


Co-signature on the white paper implies support for the science
vis-a-vis the Astro2010 committee.

It implies that your name will appear as a co-signer in the paper
submitted to the Astro2010 committee and in the version submitted to
astro-ph/

Co-signature is different from coauthorship on science papers.  The
white papers are not regular scientific papers for which intellectual
contribution is required in order to be a coauthor.

We encourage everyone to read and co-sign the white papers regardless
of the level of contribution made to the writing of the papers.
