Pair Instability Supernovae

Under Construction

Brief Description

Our current understanding of the formation of the first stars in the universe implies that these stars were very massive, having a typical mass scale of hundred times the mass of the sun. For those initial mass range locate between 140 and 260 solar mass. The stars end up with a thermonuclear runaway triggered by the pair-production instability.
