Research
My research focuses on the development of the scanning FCS technique. This research requires
the development of analytic expressions as well as analysis tools in order to
properly interpret the data. I have been
focusing on using the technique to study systems where flow and diffusion are both
present. I am also interested in exploring the use of scanning FCS as a tool for
examining systems in which particles have been immobilized. The overall goal is to
use scanning FCS to quantify protein dynamics within the cellular environment.
